LEAD Drives Warm Light Charity Program Forward; Ms. Gong Chenyu Featured on ESG Young Energy Entrepreneurs Innovation List

Recently, children at rural primary schools in Yichuan County, Yan’an, Shaanxi Province, received a heartwarming gift amid the early winter chill—brand-new custom school uniforms, a rich selection of extracurricular books, and timely educational subsidies. This initiative marks the tangible results of Lead Intelligent Equipment’s (hereafter referred to as LEAD) Warm Light Charity Fund in delivering targeted support to local communities.

Upgrading Philanthropy: From Targeted Support to Systematic Care

In October, Ms. Gong Chenyu, Senior Vice President of LEAD, led a team to Yichuan County to conduct on-site assistance. Following in-depth field research, the project expanded rapidly from its initial targeted support to a systematic initiative encompassing educational assistance, material donations, and long-term care. Funds previously donated by LEAD for the construction of a makerspace at Chengguan Primary School have been fully allocated, opening a window for children to explore science and technology. Meanwhile, the scope of student financial aid has grown from the original 12 beneficiaries to 29, with all newly added scholarships distributed directly to the students’ families.

The project team also donated 126 sets of custom winter uniforms to Yunyan and Gelou township primary schools and kindergartens, and equipped school reading corners with 1,470 essential volumes from the Happy Reading series. Notably, through an internal employee-driven charity drive, 555 high-quality pre-owned children’s books were also sent to Yichuan, to be allocated by the local Women’s Federation to schools in need, ensuring that knowledge and goodwill continue to circulate.

Well-Deserved Recognition: Industry Authority Acknowledges LEAD’s Pragmatic Actions

This series of precise and efficient philanthropic initiatives exemplifies how LEAD has transformed its “Manufacturing for Good” philosophy from planning into tangible action. For years, LEAD has actively integrated ESG principles into its operations and development strategy. Under the leadership of Ms. Gong Chenyu, the company has not only maintained sustained investment in philanthropy but has also systematically advanced a range of environmental governance and sustainability initiatives. These include pioneering the public disclosure of carbon neutrality targets and roadmaps, issuing regular ESG reports, promoting the development of distributed rooftop photovoltaic power stations, and implementing product carbon footprint management—embedding sustainability throughout operational management.

It is precisely through these solid and innovative ESG practices that LEAD has earned recognition from both industry peers and society. At the recently held 8th China Energy Industry Annual Conference 2025, Ms. Gong Chenyu, Senior Vice President of LEAD, was named to the ESG Young Energy Entrepreneurs Innovation Top 30 list. This honor not only acknowledges her personal leadership but also affirms LEAD’s long-term commitment to the ESG field, demonstrating the company’s consistent integration of commercial and social value.

Looking forward, LEAD will continue to uphold its founding principle of “Manufacturing for Good.” While leading innovation in intelligent equipment, the company aims to extend the reach of its Warm Light initiatives, partnering with society at large to advance a sustainable future.
